I captured this moment at Mt Rothwell Sanctuary in Victoria, a place where the team at the Odonata Foundation have helped bring the Southern Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby back from the edge of extinction.

Not long ago, there were only twelve left in some areas. Twelve.
But here, behind the safety of predator-proof fencing, their numbers are rising again.

So when I saw this little joey , safe, curious, and full of life. It hit me just how much hope can fit into one small frame.
